"waste is not a waste"
The name in itself says it all. If you think you are creative enough to contrive something out of things that are not usable anymore, you are at the right place. An on-spot event that tests your innovation and thirst for creation.
The event will be taking place in two rounds :-
Round I will be an elimination round qualifying which, you get to enter the round II where a problem statement is fed and on spot thinking has to be done.

General Rules:
Round 1:

• There will be a written preliminary round to test the participants knowledge of mechanics and physics required to complete the goal of the problem.

Round 2:

Each team should consist of 5 members only.

Each team must formulate their own ideas and designs. Plagiarism in any form shall lead to disqualification.

Non-working models will not be allowed to be showcased.

All the team members must be present during the finals.

Participants must comply with the rules of the Workshop area where the model will be built.

Junkyard Wars is not responsible for any loss of property, injury and delays caused by participants during the event.

Junkyard Wars reserves the right to eliminate the participants in case of any misconduct.

Decision of the judges is final and binding to all.

The rules indicated in the Event Format section are applicable in addition to the above mentioned.

Judging will be of objective type and exact criteria will be revealed on the spot.
