The Brand Game

Branding has become a vital part of marketing any product. The marketing strategies, a brand’s creation, its maintenance, its recognition, its value, the study is vast and extensive, yet inevitable.
The Brand Game ascertains your creativity as you design formats for an advertisement campaign for a company. Things as fundamental as the name, the logo, the slogan, the type of script, the color etc. have the potential to make or break an enterprise.
Prelims:
Teams will be given the profile of a company for which you have to do the branding and advertising.

You have to give the company a name, logo and tagline.
Any three of the following have to be submitted in prelims:
- Web banner
- An email advertisement
- 2 Magazine advertisements (one color and one black and white).
- 1 banner
- 1 poster
- A pop-up advertisement
15 selected teams go to the final round.
The Last Date of Submission is 25th Feb, 2010.
Finals:
- The finals will take place in Durgapur. It will be a 8+2 minutes of presentation.
- The teams will arrive with the following advertisement parameters ready for presentation. They also have to explain their idea behind the following:
- Logo
- Tagline
- USP The above three parameters will be the same as submitted in the prelims.
- Brand Ambassador
- Any three of the following you have to show in your presentation:
- Web banner
- An email advertisement
- 2 Magazine advertisements (one color and one black and white).
- 1 banner
- 1 poster
- A pop-up advertisement
- The teams will also have to present an innovative marketing strategy in the current market scenario for the given company in their presentation.
